Manager Product Development, Feb 2013-Present

Promoted to Manager of Product Development to inspire creative design, enhance communication to the Hong Kong office, and oversee the overall product development process for core Strottman Atlanta accounts. Directly responsible for business-building product platforms including: Lowe’s Build and Grow Retail ($1.5mm annual sales), Lowe’s Build and Grow monthly workshops ($7.5mm annual sales), Chick-fil-A kids meal programs ($10mm annual sales), and Chick-fil-A plush cows (3.3mm annual sales).

  • Strategic Liaison with the Strottman Hong Kong team, freelances, and model shop: streamline project flow and communication across the supply chain and resource bases.
  • Oversee all product development design aspects for clients including: 3D Development and modeling in SolidWorks, concept development, specifications and Bill of Materials, die-lines for all paper components, engraving, instructions for products, and any design related details needed for production ready parts.

Lead product designer for Strottman Atlanta (Chick-Fil-A, Lowe’s, Arby’s, and Whataburger), design support for Strottman Irvine, and lead design contact for Hong Kong team and external vendors. Traveled as needed to Hong Kong and provided training support for team members.

  • Lead designer for all product development design aspects including: SolidWorks 3D design/ modeling, concepts, specifications, die-lines, engraving, product instructions, and any other details needed.
